However like all summer tires, they are not intended to be driven in near freezing temperatures, through snow or on ice. ContiSportContact 5 SSR tires permit drivers to remain mobile in the event of a flat tire by allowing them to reach their destination or tire service facility without having to replace a flat tire with the spare tire.
