The offset pattern minimizes pipe resonance for a quieter, more enjoyable drive. The high silica content in the tread rubber reduces rolling resistance and also improves wet traction, while lightning grooves in the pattern better evacuate water for hydroplaning resistance. Multi-wave sipes help minimize irregular wear to prevent increased noise over time while also improving traction in slippery conditions, including in light snow and on ice. High-hardness bead filler and a jointless bead wire improve handling response, and the stiff casing further enhances handling while also reducing rolling resistance.
